Die super leichte Carbon-PLATINUM in AEROSPACE PREPREG TECHNOLOGY ist fuer leistungsorientierte Koenner in mega steifer Monocoque-Bauweise konstruiert. Laengst hat sich herumgesprochen, dass selbst PWA-Teamfahrer anderer Rigg-Marken die PLATINUM kaufen!
Um hoechsten Anspruechen zu genuegen, sind drei voellig individuelle Konzepte am Start:

WAVE SERIES:
Die Biegelinie der kurzen Laengen mit geringerem Öffnungswinkel vorne und breiterem Endstueck ergeben die EVEN CURVE, die fuer eine gleichmaessigere Zugverteilung auf Mast- und Segelhand sorgt. Das verbessert das Handling beim Wellenabreiten und bei Freestyle Moves und laesst weniger ermueden.
Auf vielfachen Wunsch gibt es jetzt die PLATINUM auch in einer MEGA SLIM Version als duennste Carbon-Gabel weltweit mit nur 24.0 mm Holmdurchmesser (140-180 und 150-200)!
NEU: der brandneue VTS TAIL Beschlag bietet in Kombination mit den 2022er Duotone Segeln erstmals eine klare optische Anzeige fuer die perfekte Schothornspannung (Patent angemeldet).

HYBRID SERIES:
Speziell fuer die Segelgroessen 4.5 bis 7.8 wurde die Wave/Freeride Version mit HYBRID.CURVE entwickelt, die sich in ihr im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes optimal entfalten koennen. Fuer optimalen Griffkomfort und sicheren Halt bei Duck Jibes ist das Endstueck zur Haelfte mit Pro-Grip beschichtet (INSIDE GRIPPED TAIL). Niedriges Gewicht, iFRONT 2.0 Kopfstueck und die Steifigkeit der Monocoque-Bauweise machen sie zur hochwertigsten Wave/Freeride Gabel, die momentan angeboten wird.
Auch diese Gabel ist mit dem brandneuen VTS TAIL Beschlag ausgestattet.

RACE SERIES:
Die grossen PLATINUM besitzen ausgereifte Race/Slalom-Biegekurven. Zusaetzliches Highlight ist das iTAIL RACE FITTING, dessen Rollen aus Teflon-POM Kunststoff minimalste Reibungswerte aufweisen. Absolut einzigartig: Die Tampenschlaufe kann sogar bei Verwendung eines Outhaul-Trimmsystems geloopt werden (patentiert).

- Die Laenge 170-230 cm besitzt einen 28 mm Holmdurchmesser, ideal fuer kleine Slalomsegel sowie saemtliche Freerace Segelgroessen.
Achtung: die 170er Laenge ist eine Gabel mit Race-Fokus, d.h. Fokus auf maximale Steifigkeit trotz innenliegendem Endstueck und "geringem Griffdurchmesser". Dadurch ist sie in ihrer Klasse die steifste Gabel auf dem Markt. Das erreichen wir durch eine Vorspannung zwischen Endstueck und Body. Das hat jedoch leider einen negativen Effekt auf den Bedienungskomfort. Die Laenge 160 (Freeride Fokus) hat den identischen Body wie die 170er jedoch ein Endstueck mit geringerem Öffnungswinkel (= ca. 20% geringere Steifigkeit aber deutlich hoeherer Verstellkomfort).

- Die brandneue PLATINUM 190 hat nun einen 28.5 mm Griffdurchmesser plus ein OVAL OUTSIDE TAIL erhalten das jetzt sogar fuer 40% mehr Steifigkeit sorgt, um auch bei maximaler Laenge nichts an Haerte einzubuessen.

The super-lightweight carbon PLATINUM in AEROSPACE PREPREG TECHNOLOGY is designed for experienced and performance-oriented riders with its ultra-stiff monocoque design. Word has long since got around that even PWA team riders of other rig brands buy the PLATINUM.
In order to meet the toughest challenges, three fully customised concepts are at the start:
› Wave >< Freestyle (140 + 150)

WAVE SERIES:
The bending line of the short lengths with a smaller opening angle at the front and wider tail end combine to form the EVEN CURVE, which ensures a more even pull on the mast and backhand. This improves handling when riding the waves and lessens fatigue when performing freestyle moves.
By popular request, the PLATINUM is now also available in a MEGA SLIM version as the thinnest carbon boom worldwide with only 24.0 mm tube diameter (140-180 and 150-200).
NEW: In combination with the 2022 Duotone sails, the brand new VTS TAIL fitting offers for the first time a clear visual indication for the perfect outhaul tension (patent pending).

HYBRID SERIES:
The wave/freeride version with HYBRID.CURVE was developed specifically for sail sizes 4.5 to 7.8, which can unfold optimally - in the truest sense of the word. For the very best grip comfort and secure hold when performing duck gybes, the tail end is half coated with Pro-Grip (INSIDE 50% GRIPPED TAIL). The low weight, iFRONT 2.0 front end and the stiffness of the monocoque design make it the highest-quality wave/freeride boom currently available.
Also this boom is equipped with the brand new VTS TAIL fitting.

RACE SERIES:
The large PLATINUM booms have tried-and-tested race/slalom bend curves. An additional highlight is the iTAIL RACE FITTING, whose Teflon POM plastic rollers minimise friction. Absolutely unique: The ropes can even be looped while an outhaul trimming system is in use (patented).

- The PLATINUM 170-230 features a 28 mm grip diameter, which is ideal for small and medium slalom sails and all freerace sail sizes.
Attention: the 170 length is mainly focussed on racing generating maximum stiffness despite the inside tail-end and the rather "small“ grip diameter. This can only be achieve through a certain pretension between the tail-end and the body. This pretension makes the PLATINUM 170 the stiffest boom of its kind on the market. Unfortunately though the pretension has a negative effect on the comfort while adjusting the boom length.
The 160 length (freeride focus) however comes with the same body than the 170 but features a tail-end with a smaller opening angle. This results in a 20% lower stiffness but a much higher comfort when adjusting the length.

- The brand-new PLATINUM 190-250 now features a 28.5 mm grip diameter plus an OVAL OUTSIDE TAIL for 40% increased stiffness. The OVAL OUTSIDE TAIL also ensures that maximum stiffness is obtained even when fully extended.
