Der neue Unit wird dich vom ersten Flug an beeindrucken! Leicht, flugstabil und mit jeder Menge Zug nach oben besticht der Wing mit Flugeigenschaften wie kein Zweiter. Die Kontrolle und direkte Steuerung durch unsere neuen festen Griffe machen den Unit zum besten Wing mit Handles, den du in die Haende bekommen kannst. Das Design-Briefing fuer den Unit war einen Wing zu entwickeln, der auf der Welle stabil und federleicht an der Front Handle hinterher fliegt. Gleichzeitig wollten wir mehr Lift und Hang-Time bei Spruengen und einfacheres und neutraleres Verhalten bei Manoevern erzielen. Das Ganze in Kombination mit einem Handling, das dem eines Booms nahekommt. Das Ergebnis wird dich genauso wie uns selbst beeindrucken, der Unit schlaegt alle unsere vorherigen Designs um Laengen. Die leicht vergroesserte Spannweite des Units sorgt fuer eine bessere Flugstabilitaet auf der Welle und mehr Hang-Time bei Spruengen. Zugleich ist der Wing kompakt genug fuer weniger erfahrene Rider, zum Freeriden und Cruisen, sowie fuer Sprung-Rotationen beim Freestylen. Durch zusaetzliche Segmentierung der Front Tube und des Panel-Layouts konnte Wing-Designer Ken Winner die Tuchspannung und den Twist des Wings weiter optimieren. Die neuen Fenster sind nicht nur optimiert platziert fuer gute Sicht und Sicherheit, sie bieten auch Gewichtsvorteile. Stroemungs-Simulationen haben dem Design-Team zu den finalen Tweaks und Details verholfen, die den Unit so ausgezeichnet fliegen lassen. The new Unit will impress you from the first flight. Light, lifty and stable, yet incredibly easy to handle and control with our new rigid handles. The design goal of the new Unit was simple, we wanted to create a wing with a stable drift that can follow you effortlessly without pulling left, right, up or down when depowered on the wave. At the same time, we wanted a wing that created more lift for improved hang time in jumps and easier handling in maneuvers, all of this combined with a boom-like control and steering. The results will blow your mind, the unit has proven to be our best performing wing to date with unrivalled flying performance. The slightly wider span of the Unit offers great luffing stability when on the wave and significantly better hang time in the jumps. Yet the wingspan and dihedral still make it easy for less experienced riders, freeriding, cruising or rotational freestyle moves. Increased segments to the leading edge and panel layout of the Unit have allowed designer Ken Winner to finely optimize canopy tension and twist. La nouvelle Unit vas t.impressionner dès ton premier vol. Légère, rapide au planning et stable, mais également incroyablement facile à contrôler et piloter avec nos nouvelles poignées rigides. L.objectif du design de la nouvelle Unit était simple, nous voulions créer une aile avec un drift stable et capable de te suivre en toute facilité sans avoir à tirer sur la gauche, la droite, vers le haut ou le bas en depower sur la vague. En même temps nous voulions créer une aile générant plus de lift pour un meilleur hangtime lors des sauts et un pilotage plus facile durant les manœuvres. Tout ceci se combine pour offrir un pilotage et un contrôle tout à fait détonants. Le résultat est tout à fait bluffant, la Unit s.avère être notre aile la plus performante actuellement, avec des performances de vol tout à fait incroyables. La surface un peu plus large de la Unit offre une grande stabilité lorsqu.elle lofe sur la vague, mais également un hangtime plus important lors des sauts. Ceci dit, l.envergure et le dièdre permettent aux riders les moins expérimentés de pratiquer le freeride, le cruising ou encore de réaliser des mouvements freestyle rotatifs plus facilement. Les plus grands segments du bord d.attaque et la disposition des panneaux de la Unit ont permis au designer Ken Winner d.optimiser la tension et la torsion du canopy. La nouvelle disposition des fenêtres a permis une économie de poids sans compromis de confort et de sécurité. Les simulations de flux d.air ont permis de peaufiner certains détails à l.origine de cette sensation de légèreté ressentie lorsque tu as la Unit entre les mains, mais également du lift incroyable lors des jibes et des tacks et du feedback instantané quand tu en as besoin! Oublie tes préjugés concernant les ailes équipées de poignées, notre nouvelle poignée rigide vissée sur le cadre de l.aile permet toujours de gonfler l.aile en toute simplicité, mais le pilotage est désormais plus dynamique que pour n.importe quelle autre aile équipée de poignées. Per progettare la nuova Unit ci eravamo posti un semplice obiettivo: creare un.ala stabile, capace di seguirti con naturalezza, senza tirare verso destra o sinistra, verso l.alto o verso il basso quando depotenziata sull.onda. Allo stesso tempo, volevamo realizzare un modello in grado di generare un maggiore lift verso l.alto per migliorare il tempo di volo nei salti e la maneggevolezza nelle manovre, oltre a garantire un controllo e una manovrabilità simili a quelli forniti da un boma. Il risultato è semplicemente magnifico. Unit si è dimostrata l.ala più performante che abbiamo costruito sinora, con prestazioni di volo senza uguali. L.apertura alare leggermente più ampia dota questo modello di una stabilità di volo da depotenziato grandiosa sull.onda e un tempo di volo notevolmente maggiore nei salti. Tuttavia, assieme all.angolo diedro, questa caratteristica la rende comunque semplice da gestire per i rider meno esperti. 

Il numero maggiore di tramutare sulla leading edge e di pannelli hanno permesso al progettista Ken Winner di perfezionare la tensione del canopy e ridurne la torsione. Inoltre, le modifiche apportate alla finestra hanno consentito di ridurre il peso senza compromettere il comfort e la sicurezza.
